A community based, charitable foundation dedicated to providing emotional, social and financial support to childrendiagnosed with cancer or life-threatening illnesses, and their families and caregivers. They solely rely on the generosity and support of others. Chapter 2 have made life-changing donations in order to support the amazing work they do. We love seeing videos of the children ringing the cancer free bell!

Hearts and Helpers is a grassroots London charity supporting people facing homelessness and insecure housing. They provide essential goods, wellbeing workshops, signposting services, and vital support for those moving into safe accommodation. The charity depends on community donations of clothing, footwear, and mobile phones to help roughsleepers stay connected and access key services. At Chapter 2, we’re proud to play our part. In December, we organised a collection drive for Christmas gifts, clothing, and essential items and we look forward to continuing our support and helping Hearts and Helpers make a lasting impact across London.
Children with Cancer UK is the leading charity in the UK dedicated to funding life‑saving research and supporting families affected by childhood cancer. They’ve driven crucial progress in understanding the causes of childhood cancers, developing kinder treatments, and improving the quality of life for young patients. Their work has played an important role in increasing survival rates and giving more children the chance to grow up cancer free. At Chapter 2, we’re proud to stand behind their mission. From bake sales to sponsored runs, our team continues to fundraise and find new ways to support Children with Cancer UK and the families who rely on them.
Before founding Chapter 2, Leo was responsible for the international expansion of the fastest growing and most disruptive marketing services agency of the decade. With a relentless passion for tackling challenges and scaling businesses, he offers a holistic perspective on talent acquisition, harmonising both human and business aspects. Launching Chapter 2 seemed like a natural progression after his position as Global Chief Operating Officer at OLIVER, designing and scaling teams for brands such as Unilever, KPMG and Starbucks.
Steven Bartlett is an Entrepreneur, speaker, investor, author, Dragon on Dragon’s Den and the host of Europe's leading podcast 'The Diary of a CEO'. With notable investments including Huel - UK's fastest growing e-commerce company internationally, and Zoe - the personalised nutrition programme created by the world's top scientists. Previous investments include The Healing Company, atai Life Sciences, Alto Neuroscience and AbCellera. Steven co-founded Flight Group - a media, marketing and investment company consisting of Flight Fund, Flight Ventures, Flight Story, Flight Studio, Flight Talent and Flight Tech.
With extensive experience in the financial and professional services sectors, Mel is best suited to advising founders, executives and boards on strategic people matters. Her focus is on M&A, talent management, and technology integration. Having led International People teams, Mel is known for her innovative thinking and ability to build high-performing teams.
Soeren has been a Board Advisor to Chapter 2 since 2023 and supports the German and wider continental European business. During his extensive career, he has led Talent Acquisition Teams and organizations in Executive Search, RPO, consulting, eCommerce, and blockchain technology, delivering thousands of hires per year.
Raffael has 25+ years of experience building, transforming, and monetising global brands and businesses, with a track record spanning brand-led growth, M&A, and value creation. As a former CEO and regional leader across global advertising, data, and technology groups, he has driven P&L growth, organisational restructuring, and market expansion across multiple continents. As Chapter 2's Operating Partner for Brazil, Raffael leads go-to-market strategy, embedded recruitment models, and operational governance. He specialises in market entry and building scalable business models in complex markets, connecting clients to the talent ecosystems that deliver results.
Brad is Co-Founder of Chapter 2 Talent US, leading the company's expansion into the American market. He met Leo Harrison in Jersey in 2020, where they began shaping the company's operating model together, and joined Chapter 2 formally in 2021. As Managing Partner for EMEA, Brad led the development of Chapter 2's AI proprietary talent platform, the company's growth strategy, and its international expansion — including launching and scaling the German entity as Managing Director — before being appointed Co-Founder of Chapter 2 US in 2024 following Steven Bartlett's investment.
With 17 years of experience building innovative solutions for clients, Sophie leads the Sales function of Chapter 2. Her main focus is winning new clients whilst growing and enhancing the company’s presence, however, in her spare time, she also organises world-class events for Chapter 2.
David is an executive talent acquisition leader with over 25 years of experience building and transforming hiring functions for some of the UK’s most complex organisations. He has held senior in-house roles at Ocado, Boots, and Kingfisher before moving into consulting and advisory roles and he is now a Managing Partner here at Chapter 2. David leads the Transformation & Advisory practice, working with clients on hiring strategy, capability building, process optimisation, workforce planning, and IR35 compliance. His approach is grounded in the belief that recruitment done well is a strategic advantage, not a transactional service. He writes and speaks regularly on talent strategy, skills-based hiring, and the evolving role of AI in recruitment.
I am the Head of Growth at Chapter 2, supporting the company’s expansion across Europe and advising ambitious businesses on how to scale high-performing talent functions. I bring 17 years of experience across GTM, sales leadership, talent solutions, and venture-backed startups, with a track record of building revenue engines and selling into high-trajectory scale-ups and Enterprise markets. I hold a bachelor’s degree from Harvard University and an Executive MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology.
Simon has 19 years' experience in recruitment and talent acquisition, spanning client services, workforce planning, delivery and business growth. More than 15 of those years have been spent in senior leadership roles, building high-performing talent teams and developing strategies that help organisations scale and achieve their objectives. He began his career at Reed, progressing into management and becoming one of the company's first Executive Business Managers. He then spent 11 years at Your World Recruitment Group, one of the UK's largest staffing consortiums, rising from Divisional Manager to Business Director. Simon joined Chapter 2 in 2024, he is responsible for client retention and growth across the client portfolio, sits on the global leadership team, and leads Chapter 2's client events programme. Simon believes the strongest client relationships are built as genuine partnerships. He is known for his hands-on approach, commitment to transparency, and willingness to go above and beyond to help clients achieve lasting success.
With over 15 years of experience, Kelly is the Finance Director at Chapter 2. She oversees all global financial reporting, governance, and compliance requirements across the company’s international entities, ensuring robust controls while supporting the rapid pace of growth. With a keen eye for detail and a strong commercial mindset, Kelly is a trusted business partner to the management team. She provides strategic financial insight, drives performance through data-led decision-making, and helps shape the financial framework that enables sustainable expansion.
Nick has spent over two decades shaping how companies build their employer brands. He led award-winning teams at specialist agencies ThirtyThree and Tonic, collecting RAD Awards, RMAs and CIPD accolades for a variety of clients including McDonald's, the Met Police, PwC, EDF Energy, Rolls Royce and Vodafone. He then took that craft in-house, building Wayfair's employer brand across Europe and Asia, launching new markets where the consumer brand didn't yet exist, before taking a senior brand role at Bumble. Now at Chapter 2, Nick is building out employer brand as a service, helping clients tell stories that pull talent toward them. With a firm belief in using AI to accelerate creative output, he brings a rare mix of agency craft and in-house pragmatism to one of the few RPOs treating brand as core to its proposition.
